The world’s best driving teams are coming to Austin this September for an exciting weekend of championship endurance racing.

Endurance racing is a whole different kind of racing. It’s not just a race, but a test of the durability of the car and the sheer will of the participants. The most prestigious and oldest endurance race is 24 Hours of Le Mans. That’s right — a straight 24 hours behind the wheel — managing speed, control, fuel and all of the mechanical systems of the car.

In the spirit of the Le Mans race, the world’s best driving teams are coming to Austin, Texas, for an exciting weekend of racing. These are the very same drivers and manufacturers that put it to the test all over the world, including the world champion Aston Martin Racing team and the Valero GTE car. The big event on Saturday is a grueling six-hour race on the Circuit of the Americas, where teams battle it out at the only FIC World Endurance Championship event in the United States.

Leading up to the main race, fans can enjoy an entire weekend of top-level racing from the COTA grandstands. Racing enthusiasts of all ages can experience the thrills of a World Series Formula V8 race, the Ferrari Challenge and the USA F4 Championships, where young drivers show off their skills at the highest level.

The action starts Thursday, September 14. More information, including a full schedule and how to purchase tickets, can be found at www.circuitoftheamericas.com
