Ocean in a Bottle

Here’s What You Need:

• Blue food coloring

• Canola oil

• Cork stopper

• Glass bottle

• Glue gun

• Funnel

• Plastic ocean figurines

• Water

Here’s What You Do:

• Fill approximately half of your bottle with water

• Add several drops of food coloring

• Have your child shake the bottle to disperse the food coloring

• Fill a third of the bottle withyour cooking oil

• Leave a little room at the top!

• Add your plastic marine creatures

• Use hot glue to secure the cork in the bottle

• Make some waves
